Scenario:
Design a small house (min. 30 m2) for a specific usergroup based on a problem in relation to the group's needs and wishes.

 

How:
By doing research on the specific user group and sustainable materials. Using interview methods and design thinking exercises. Making scale models as well as drawing different floor plans based on the on the small house.

The small house: 

The house is especially designed for families with small children. It is inspired of the Scandinavian nature. The entrance is quite narrow, just like the paths in the forest. In relation to the landscape, the space gets more open as you move further inside the building. Large windows allow a lot of daylight inside and creates an outside - inside feeling.
